Sontha Marakattalai Launches Free Eye Check-up Initiative for Seniors
In a mission to ensure better vision for our elders, Sontha Marakattalai organized a series of free eye check-up camps across 3 villages. With the support of local optometrists, over 180 elderly residents were screened and 60+ received free prescription glasses.

Sontha Marakattalai was honored by the District Administration for its exceptional service in elderly care, women empowerment, and rural healthcare. The recognition was given during Tamil Nadu State Welfare Week.

Traditional Pongal celebrations were held at our old age home with much joy and community participation. Elders prepared sweet pongal, danced to folk music, and participated in cultural games.
